Welcome readers, to my blog about the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival.
While I’ve blogged in the past about this fantastic event, I’ve never managed to really stay on top of it. (See uncompleted: 2007, and 2006). However this year is to be my grand return to TIFF Blogging, and with it a brand new page, as well as a new agenda.

Some of the funniest, most interesting, unique and cult-worthy films come out of the Midnight Madness pack. It’s almost like a film festival in and of itself within the proper full film festival, there are whole groups of people who just get MM packs

Knowing that I would be able to attend each and every day of the film festival this year, I went ahead and purchased myself two Advance Order packages. For those of you unfamiliar with the Toronto International Film Festival ticket process, basically

Regardless of buying an Advance Order package, I still end up on the Tiff Online Box Office at 7am the day of sale, for a very long, inappropriate amount of time hitting refresh, praying that whatever ticket(s) I’m trying to obtain will still be avai

Well, this was unexpected.
I entered a contest at Communal Table food blog (I think I saw a post on twitter about the contest?), and amazingly won 2 Tickets to the Opening Night Gala Screening & Party. HOLY CRAP! I can’t believe it still, but her

I think I’m fully prepared for the festival, but I’m a little worried about what exactly I’ve gotten myself into!
Sure, seeing 24 movies in 11 days is crazy. Commuting into and out of the city most of those days is going to be taxing, adding a Ope

Being super lucky won me the chance to attend this Gala Opening Night film, and the Party;

THE KINGS SPEECH
12:00pm, Ryerson Theatre.
Although I didn’t get up until after ten o’clock this morning it still felt like a very early morning, because of last nights midnight madness, I didn’t get to bed until after 3am. Luckily, Ahli let me

Seriously, what the hell?

OUR DAY WILL COME

What can I say about ‘Our Day Will Come’? It was an unexpected delight to have Colin Geddes (the infamous Midnight Madness program director) introduce the movie, whom is apparently a redhead, I gu
